Not just ordinary snacks, these are Gourmet Snacks
Deep-fried shrimp, wok-fried goodness.
You’ve probably never heard of these before, heck, you’re probably weirded out by the concept as we speak. It’s not often that you hear the words “deep-fried” and “shrimp heads” put together, the concept might seem weird and bizzare, but believe us, it is so much more delicious than you think it is.
Mixed with an assortment of spices, flavors and condiments, we’re bringing the different tastes of Asia straight to your palatte: so you can get your senses numbed by Asia at home, enjoy Malaysia at the dinner table and taste Singapore on your couch.
Salted Egg Brainless Shrimp Heads
SCRUMPTIOUS, RICH AND TASTY
This is none other than our classic deep-fried shrimp heads. We use finely-selected, medium-sized shrimp heads with the unwanted parts removed as the main ingredient. Then wok fry them with salted egg, curry leaves, chili pepper and an assortment of spices to transform it to our classic, mouth-watering delicacy.
Deep-Fried Shrimp Heads, but Just the Good Part
We use finely-selected, medium-sized shrimp as the main ingredient. What we do is then carefully remove all the unwanted parts of the shrimp heads, i.e. the brain, eyes, basically most of the head, leaving only the cheeks. You see, that’s the secret ingredient. We then deep-fry it and infuse it with our (another secret!) secret Salted Egg recipe.

Mala Salted Egg Brainless Shrimp Heads
SPICY TWIST TO THE CLASSIC!
Infused with our secret Mala recipe, we added a spicy twist to the classic scrumptious seafood snack. *What in the world is Ma La?* Long story short, Ma La is a type of spicy flavor originated from Asia. But it is so much different than the normal spicy you might be accustomed to.
Excitement on Your Palette
Similar to the classic Salted Egg, we used finely selected medium size shrimp as the main ingredient. We removed all the unwanted parts of the shrimp and left the cheeks for deep-frying. Then the cheeks are added with our Salted egg recipe, recreating that exotic, oriental, yet addicting taste.
Except this time we *also* infused it with our Mala recipe–a classic Asian spicy, **numbing** flavor– along with other top quality ingredients. And voila, behold, our crispy, spicy and irresistible snack.

Tom Yum Salted Egg Brainless Shrimp Heads
SPICY AND SOUR! VERY APPETIZING!
This savory and scrumptious shrimp heads uses Star Chew’s exclusive salted egg recipe as base, blended with tasty tom yum flavor, making the taste of the shrimp even more standing out. Lime and lemongrass are very appetizing, making you crave for more. This spicy and sour snack is something you should not miss. We use finely selected medium size shrimp as the main ingredient. Carefully removing all the unwanted brain, eyes, head, left with just the cheek for deep fried to create this snack.
Our classic with a Thai Twist
The Story of Tom and his Yum Yum Soup. Tom Yum flavor. Once upon a time there was a boy named Tom, he created a broth so delicious all he could say about it is “Yum”.
Just Kidding, Sorry
We’d like to tell you that that is the origin of the flavor of Tom Yum, but alas it is not. The term Tom Yum refers to the Thai delicacy, a hot and sour soup, which is commonly cooked with a certain seafood, you guessed it, shrimp! So it is only natural for our Salted Egg Shrimp Heads to eventually come home to the Tom Yum flavor.
